After graduating from the University of Alberta in 1984, minoring in Individual Differences and First Nation Education. My career brought me to two First Nations and a provincial school system. Early on in my career, it became apparent that the "regular education system" was not effective for every child and their individual needs. Throughout my many years of experience as a teacher, administrator and counsellor, I have been able to draw upon my own unique experiences in the education system to address the specific needs of students.

Individual Online Tutoring
The Individual Tutoring Program focuses
on specific educational needs. There will be formal and informal assessments to determine the grade level the student is currently at. With that information we will then create an individualized program. There will be long and short term objectives contructed and then discussed with the parent and
student. Math and literacy skills will be the focus of this program. The support offered will include creating an environment in which the student will strive to meet their potential.
Exam Preparation
Specialized Tutoring/Education Intervention
The online sessions will support the student in upcoming exams. We will provide full instruction and explanations for test material. Test/exam preparation will include all elements your child needs to be equipped with to be successful on future exams, tests, and quizzes.
This program addresses the needs of students with various learning difficulties. These students often display complex individual needs. The support offered will involve formal assessments to determine not only grade levels, but also the student's unique learning style. Often the complex needs have made it difficult for the student to learn the basic educational skills of literacy and math. Long term objectives will involve the student reaching their full potential.
